Error when Installing Kundli 2000 Software

I have a computer that is running on Windows XP and now I am installing a software which is called Kundli 2000 on it. The installation went perfectly fine, but when I entered all the details and clicked on VIEW an error message pops up saying that I have to “Insert Key Diskette”.

I tried to view "sysedit", and it shows that config.sys
INSTALL?=C:KUN2000KUN2000.EXE

autoexec.bat is blank.

Can somebody tell me how to get rid of the error? Do I need to edit some system file?

I also tried installing the software on Windows Vista but I’m still having the same error. I need help. Any ideas are highly appreciated.

In Windows XP, config.sys and autoexec.bat are no longer used. These two files were normally used in early versions of Windows like Windows Millennium, Windows 98, Windows 98 SE, and Windows 95. I still remember when I used to edit these two files for my own customization. But these files are no longer used in Windows XP and other later versions of Windows, although they are still visible and are still included in the system files. Since Windows XP is a Windows NT-based platform, these two files have another name, config.nt and autoexec.nt and can be found in c:WINDOWSsystem32. You can open them using notepad and learn about its contents.

I tried searching in the internet about Kundli 2000 but I cannot seem to find it. I think it’s an astrology software. I was able to find different versions of it about astrology but the specific Kundli 2000 software is hard to find. That’s why it’s hard to determine if it is compatible with Windows XP.

Try uninstalling and then reinstalling the software. If reinstalling it doesn’t solve the problem, try going to the website where you downloaded it and find the latest version that is compatible with your operating system.
