I am now facing Error 2927 on Virtual Machine Manager 2012 (VMM ) when I tried to add Hyper-V host to System Center VMM. I already checked on the <FQDN_Name> and it is working actively on my server. How can I fix it?

Error (2927)

The mentioned error pops up in case you are operating an empty file which is not pointing anywhere. There are two ways to solve this issue. In case none of the solution works, you must contact a VMM customer support executive and ask them for guidance regarding the issue.

  1. Go to Start << then Run and type winrm/config/client @ {TrustedHosts=”*”} and execute the command in the command prompt by running the command as administrator.
  2. For running the command as administrator, right click on the CMD window and select Run as an administrator.
  3. It will display a code snippet of the host of the VMM similar to the one on its vdefault mode. The snippet is as follows:
  4. vdefault mode.

HTTP = 5985
