Greeting to All,

I am posting a problem that I encountered when installing .net utilities. Here is the error message screen.

WindowsMicrosoft.NETFramework64v.4.0.30319mscoreei.dll could not be loaded

C:WindowsMicrosoft.NETFramework64v.4.0.30319mscoreei.dll

could not be loaded

I was wondering what might be the cause of this error. I've restarted my computer but I still get the error. I've also scanned my computer, but no virus was found. Please help.

Thanks a lot for reading my post.

Hello,

I have faced this type of error and have resolved it.

Try the following:

  • If using windows XP, make sure you have installed the latest version of .NET framework.
  • If the problem is not resolved, then reinstall windows installer.
  • This error could also happen if your .net framework utility has been corrupted.
  • If the error still occurs, reinstall your operating system.

I am sure this answer will resolve your problem.

Hi,

The error you encountered might have been as a result of installing the utility that was not required for your computer or a .dll file that was not required for your computer. The utilities that are required can be found on the internet when you request to open with the associated file type. Personally, the scenario I've got is that of a .dll file not found of which I installed with DirectX drivers.

You may try looking for DirectX or Direct3D drivers or other .net utilities and reinstall. If there's still a problem, you may try installing on a different operating system.

Thanks.
