I have newly installed Nero Version 11.0.107 on my computer, but I didn’t feel comfortable using it because I get lost of its new features. I wanted the old version of Nero 10 Multimedia Suite back. I tried to reinstall it again, but I got an error message that blocked me from completing the installation so I just stopped. And then it says that a newer version already exists. But I already removed it before I reinstalled the old one. So I checked my Program Files again but it’s not there. I didn’t find it there. I wanted to do the reinstallation of the old version again, but the same message popped up.
Help me please.
Deleted Nero 10 is still visible in Program Files
When the Nero program gets damaged while installing or sudden PC-power-out, it does not open properly or even uninstall correctly. In these cases, you need to uninstall the Nero in the following manner.
Go to C: drive then Program files then search and delete Nero folder. Now, Click the Start button. Click o Run, then type regedit in the text box. Press enter. The registry editor will start. Click on the Edit menu and click Find. Type Nero and click the search button. Delete all the info related to Nero. Exit Registry editor. Install Nero again; it will install properly.
You also need to check the compatibility issue or minimum requirement of Nero so that it will run in your operating system smoothly.
