I have Microsoft Lync 2010 installed on my Windows XP computer. I cannot log in to my account in MS Lync.

I tried logging in to other PC and it went successfully with the same username and password that I used in connecting when using my own PC.

But I am getting error when using mine. I tried restarting my system for countless times and yet, the error below is still showing.

Please someone lend me a hand and help me with this.

Hi Linda,

This problem may appear because your Lync 2011 incorrectly handles the web ticket that was issued by 2011 Lync Server. Below are some resolutions to fix your problem:

Update your package information. You can visit these links to update your package information:

You have to restart the computer if certain dependencies in Lync 2010 are still running when the update is applied. For example, if you have Microsoft Office Outlook or Lync 2010 running when the update is applied, you have to restart the computer.
