Command Failed 30008 One or more required Office components failed to complete successfully. For more information, consult the setup log file.

I am getting an error when installing SharePoint Server 2007 Sp2 Trial version. Here is the errors content, first the message from setup and next the error log info that contains the error:

Dear Adams Baker,

My friend this is simply a problem of your office files. You have to sure about the source from where you are installing that office. That might be not a full version or not a safe file and might be consist of few viruses. So search out another source or place and then install it again.

Hello Adams,

The likely cause of the error that you are getting is a corrupt setup installation file. Or it could be incompatible with your system, and therefore to resolve the issue you will need to check the system specifications and then download a version that is compatible with your system and then one that is not corrupt and then try reinstalling.

Regards,

Nicke
