Hp The Installer Cannot Be Run On this System

I am supposed to install this HP installer in our Windows Server when this error appeared. Why it is not supported? I have tried installing this on my laptop and it was a success! Windows does support this, right?

What could be making this error?

Hello Green,

Are you running the installation from a CD or a DVD? If that is so then it is most probable that the CD or DVD that you are using is corrupt and therefore the DVD drive cannot be able to read the data from the disc. You will therefore need to try cleaning the disc as well as the DVD drive and then retry.

Hp The Installer Cannot Be Run On this System

Hello Green,

That could be a compatibility issue. Your printer model might not be supported by the Server's Operating System or the Installation Software does not support the Operating System. You can try a walk around by simply downloading the Driver/Software Package from this link and please make sure to correctly type the printer model that you have and select your Operating System and Bit Version (e.g. 64 bit/32 bit) before downloading.
