Changing the settings to modify layout of Media Wiki for website

Asked By 0 points N/A Posted on -

Could I change the settings to modify the layout of Media Wiki for my website? There’s a continuous error prompt message shown, whenever I try opening the Wiki webpage in my computer. I tried to access by encoding http://www.localhost/directorypath.

However, when I try to put http://www.systemname/directorypath there is an automatic error shown. It doesn't run after that. The error displays “Page not found”! Why is it so?

Please help.

Thank you.

Changing the settings to modify layout of Media Wiki for website

Hi Aureole,

Media Wiki is very important to make your websites powerful. I will give you different plug-ins that will help your Media Wiki to give more new and fresh facilities. The Following extensions are very important and useful for your Media Wiki:

  • Videoflash Extension, Semantic Media Wiki Extension, Category Extension, Input box extension, Discussion Threading Extension, Article Comments Extension, CheckUser Extension, Contact Page Extension, Simple Feed Extension, Flash MP 3 Extension.
  • Then follow the following  steps on how to change the settings of your Media Wiki:
  1. Look for the CONTROL PANEL and open the file Manager menu.
  2. Search for the configuration of local settings of your media wiki which can be found on your wiki search list.
  3. Modify your file by choosing or selecting the following extensions that I listed above. Make sure you have created different  permissions on changing your settings. You can configure this on your permission options.

Hope this might help you.
