Hi,

I installed ASAP Utilities on my PC with MS Excel 2007/2010. But now when I try to start Excel I receive this error message:

"Repairs to 'ASAP Utilities.xla'
Excel was able to open the file by repairing or removing the unreadable content.
This workbook has lost its VBA project, ActiveX controls and any other programmability-related features"

Repairs to 'ASAP Utilities.xla

Need a solution. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

The error stating “Repair ASAP utilities.xla" appeared because, through the course of installing your Microsoft Office 2007/2010, the “Visual Basic Application" was not installed. In order for you to resolve this problem on the error you need to modify your installation of MS Office.

First, you need to stop excel, if in use. Then, proceed to control panel, select add or remove programs, click on change button on Microsoft Office and opt for “Add or Remove Features”.

Visual Basic Application

After doing the latter instructions, in the “Office Shared Features”, opt for “Visual Basic for Application” and place it to “Run from my computer” and choose continue.

Visual Basic for Application

After installation has completed, ASAP utilities can now be seen in the menu of Excel and now be usable.
