ARCHICAD Error: Not enough memory to render this model

Hi Kayla,

That is actually one of the most talked about reasons when using ARCHICAD. There are actually 3 most common reasons why this thing happened – "Not enough memory to render the model."

  • First, you may have used a lot of polygons in your drawing; try to monitor the number of polygons that is present in your drawing, as much as possible put a limit on your polygon usage, the smaller number of polygons used the faster you can render.
  • Second, presence of numerous lamps on your drawing. Refrain using too many lamps as this will affect the speed of your renderer. You can do this by turning off your lamps on the settings.
  • And lastly, your computer's memory may not be enough. Erase some files on your computer to increase your free space. But, if the same problem is happening even if there is enough disk space, consider upgrading your memory to a higher version.
