Error on Adobe done reinstallation but still same

Hello expert

I got an error message while installing Adobe Reader X on my Windows, given below.

Want to reinstall different times but output was same error message.

Trying to get solution through web but failed to get one. Is this related with registry?

Please confirm me.

Hello,

You got that error maybe because you have not met the system requirement for adobe x reader.

Make sure that your system meets the minimum System Requirements for your product:

Acrobat and Reader do not successfully install if the destination path contains double-byte or special characters.

The problem only occurs when installing at a path that is in a different code page than the host OS.

Hello Phoebegirl,

I think you forgot to attach the snapshot of the error.

It would be better if you have told us about the error exactly.

There are certain reasons which is messing up with your installation you need to look after:

1. The installation can be disturbed the running proxy servers. Please make sure to close all the proxy servers while installation.

2. Disable your antivirus protection while installing the Adobe Reader 10. Some times the antivirus blocks certain applications which causes the errors you are having.

3. Make sure that your System Requirements meet the criteria of Adobe Reader 10. You can check it from here  

4. Run the Adobe reader trouble shooter for further clarification

This might help you in getting rid of the error message.
