Hi everyone, my 6 months old Acer Aspire one 725 laptop screen goes blank on each start up.  It's the first time I am encountering this problem with the Acer ever since I purchased it. I have tried refreshing the  BIOS settings for Acer Aspire but still this won't fix the problem. Removing the laptop battery and pressing the laptop power button for some time has not worked either.  Can someone who has had experience with Acer laptops help me fix this?  Every help is highly appreciated

Happy to support you!
There are few alternative steps that you can try yourself, before seeking for technical assistance.
  1. Verify whether all the wires and cables are connected properly.
  2. Scan the system for virus attacks since it can also cause this issue.
  3. Also try resetting BIOS settings to default.
  4. Plug the monitor to a different power outlet & check.
  5. Verify that the GPU is free from dust and the fans are functioning properly.
  6. Try connecting another monitor if available. If the issue persists, there can be a problem in power, system board or display.
  7. If the other monitor did not have the issue, there may be a problem with the capacitors. So, try adjusting the brightness to the minimum level possible. If this also brings no result, check if the capacitors are having bulging tops instead of being flat where you would have to go for a replacement.
  8. Further you can try replacing the inverter of the monitor.
