Why my PC hangs when give 3D effects with Adobe Photoshop CS3?

The configuration of my PC is Ram-1GB, Hardisk-80GB,Graphics Card - 128mb(Build In), Processor-Celeron D, Windows-7. Am a graphics Designers. So I have to work with Adobe Illustrator CS3.
