How to REMOVE DUAL WINDOWS

My laptop in a dual install Windows, but the Windows OS is 3. Every time I turn on my laptop, it always gives a choice emergence for 5 seconds.

There are 3 options to choose Windows everywhere. How to remove Windows into one and to 3? Because they have the same name. This because I failed to reinstall.

How do you put a password on an Excel file?

My sister keeps on using my desktop and happens to open my Excel files and mess them up. is there a way to protect the file from being opened by putting a password? I know how to protect a sheet but I want a more secured way of protecting my file by not allowing it to be opened in the first place.

Windows cannot boot, unless there is a DVD rom

I have a problem with Windows XP and this is my latest experience. I finished up my installation of Windows XP sp3… after I turned off the CPU and I unplug the DVD ROM, when I restart the computer it will not boot into Windows but restart continues.

This makes me wonder, after I plug it back to the DVD ROM. It can boot Windows and there is no master in DVD. I already uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times. But still problematic as above.

Can I leave the laptop on sleep mode and never shutdown?

My laptop is a very slow when booting. I'm lazy when waiting is finished booting, not to mention a lot of work.

So I took the initiative to not to shut down. My question is what will happen if the laptop was never in the shutdown? But the laptop is only allowed to sleep.

Install windows 7 ultimate SP1 on a dual core 1.6 GHz

The master of computer I want to ask, if Windows 7 ultimate SP1 can run stable and good on dual core 2140 1.6 GHz processor. I want to upgrade from windows XP SP3 to Windows 7, but fear it may not be compatible.

I want to ask about the songs iTunes application. There are some songs that just sold on iTunes, but I do not want to use iTunes. If I download those songs, can they be played in another program (ex: Winamp)?
