For the past few days, I was unable to use Yahoo chat rooms with my ID. I think my Yahoo ID blocked my IP. Please give me some ideas on how to remove my IP from Yahoo black listed IPs.

This is a very common matter.  I think,  you may have  spam or have done something wrong in your ID. It maybe your cousin, friend who commented on your status.Â
However, you can sign-in on other IP address for sometimes. I will instruct you onhow to change IP.  In your browser Mozilla Firefox>> Go to tools>>options>> Advance>> Networks and select manual proxy server and edit there your choice IP address. Ok.  Restart your Mozilla. Then you can browse normally. For other browsers you dothe  same as above.
Another option you can do is  reinstall your Yahoo Messenger and change into version like 7.00 into 8.00.

You may have been misusing the yahoo chat feature and that is why it ended up being blocked. Some activities like posting images that are have been prohibited according to the privacy policies, or posting some information that is insultive, or just not appropriate to be in the public domain. Some other reason will be raising suspicion at the time you are logging to the yahoo chat by using questionable usernames and passwords that caused the yahoo admin to block the account for safety purposes.
You will therefore need to contact the yahoo chat support and explain to them your situation. You may be needed to verify your identity so you should remember details like security questions you set to use.
