Hello,

I am getting an error message in Windows Vista whenever I try to install a new driver for a group storage controller. The error message is "Error: The operation completed successfully." Need your help to solve this.

Windows requires driver software for Mass storage controller

To solve the error operation completed successfully we will need to turn off your RPC security. Please make sure that your system is in an environment that has a firewall then you may try the following work-around:

1. Click on Start
2. Choose Run
3. Type Dcomcnfg.exe
4. Click on OK
5. Expand the Component Services
6. Expand on Computers
7. Right-click on My Computer
8. Choose Properties
9. On the dialog box, click on MSDTC tab
10. Click on Security Configuration
11. On the next dialog box, select Network DTC Access
12. Choose No Authentication Required which is found under Transaction Manager Communications
13. Click on OK
14. Choose Yes and restart the MSDTC service
15. Click on OK
16. Close My Computer Properties dialog box
