Hello,
I am getting an error message in Windows Vista whenever I try to install a new driver for a group storage controller. The error message is "Error: The operation completed successfully." Need your help to solve this.

To solve the error operation completed successfully we will need to turn off your RPC security. Please make sure that your system is in an environment that has a firewall then you may try the following work-around:

Click on Start

Choose Run

Type Dcomcnfg.exe

Click on OK

Expand the Component Services
-
Expand on Computers
-
Right-click on My Computer
-
Choose Properties
-
On the dialog box, click on MSDTC tab

Click on Security Configuration
-
On the next dialog box, select Network DTC Access
-
Choose No Authentication Required which is found under Transaction Manager Communications

Click on OK
-
Choose Yes and restart the MSDTC service

Click on OK
-
Close My Computer Properties dialog box
