Hello,

I have almost 120 GB free space in drive F and I have this error when I want to run a test. I think 120GB free space is enough space for any test and I am thinking that might be an error of the program. Can anyone tell me what is happening ?

Thank you !

WinBench 96 Version1.0

WinBench 96 has found insufficient free disk space on drive F: to run this test.

You need approximately -663845296 additional bytes to run the test.

If you really have 120 GB of free space in drive F then it is not possible to have this error. The amount of free space indicated in the dialog box says you need around 600+ MB which is very far from what you are saying. Check if it is really drive F that has 120 GB or it is a different drive.

You got this error because the application detected that the target drive doesn’t have enough free space to run the test. If you verify that drive F really has 120 GB then check the drive for possible errors. You can use Windows Scandisk to check and test the drive. This is an issue with the hard drive where the free space is being reported incorrectly.

I normally get this error when doing a check on my hard drive where the operating system reports an incorrect amount of free space. You can also use PC Tools Performance Toolkit to check the drive for errors. Download the latest version, PC Tools Performance Toolkit 2.1.0.2151. It requires Windows XP x86 only, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 both x86 and x64.

Microsoft Windows 8 and later not supported. Once the error is fixed, repeat the test on drive F.
