My smartphone connects to the home WiFi router, but it is unable to connect to the internet through that router. Is there something wrong with my router or the smartphone. Please suggest some ways to fix the same.
WiFi Router Is Unable To Connect To The Internet Through The Router
There may not be anything wrong with your router or smartphone. Try these steps to see if it works:
- Unplug the modem. Wait for 30 seconds and then plug it in. Now, wait till it restarts. The check whether the internet connection is up and running on the phone.
- Â Otherwise, if your router is a separate device from the modem then unplug it also, wait for 30 seconds and then plug it in and check whether it works.
- If none of the above works then connect your laptop to the modem directly through an Ethernet cable. If it shows an internet connection, then there might be some problem with the router. In this case, you have to reset the router.
- Otherwise, there might be some problem with your ISP. Try contacting the customer care service.
