Hi,

I was wondering why should I be concerned if some company know what pages I went to? They don't know who am I, anyway?

Can you give me some explanation about it?

Thanks.

If the internet connection that you are using is not your own, then you  have a valid reason to worry. For example using the internet connection at work to do your own business or access social site like Facebook or even adult content. However, it is only your Internet Service Provider that can legally keep track off your cyber activities even if you use private browsing( a feature in Mozilla Firefox and other browsers), no other company can keep such information .

If the internet connection is your own, then  it is best for you to have a resident antivirus to prevent spyware. I recommend you install Kaspersky Internet Security. It is also a good practice to refrain form clicking on popup when online, some of them covertly install Malware and spyware that may send your information to other people.
