Device: Samsung Combo Drive

Problem: Unable to write.

Details:

I am using a combo drive from Samsung, it’s still new. But sometimes its missing writing. When I am trying to write some important data or other things its CD trey coming out and stop the writing so I am fetching very big trouble with this drive. If anyone know about this problem please inform me about that.

Hi,

I understood the issue and the combo drive you are using of Samsung should have released the latest update or the firm ware, please be make sure that the combo drive has obtained the latest firm ware to function properly.

Before that you should make sure that the combo drive has connected properly and make sure the configuration of the combo drive sitting your operating system settings. If that doesn’t helped make sure your server is supporting the Samsung combo drive interactively. if you fallow the above information step by step you can be fix the issue in any one.

Hey Albertsmith,

It is most likely your drivers are not correct or not up to date.
But it could also be the software you are using to burn.


Most computers come with something like neroburn which should work for a basic install but may have some issues with certain types of CDs. I'd try to just write one small file onto both a re-writable and a write only desk and see if it make a difference. You could always download a freeware cd burner and see if it is a software issue.
