You can add headers and footers to a document from the View menu like View > Header and Footer.

What is the use of Header and Footer in a document?

Headers and footers are used in MS Word to make it a pleasing appearance. A header and footer can be used to indicate page numbers or indicate the project name or the company name, etc. You can also use graphics and images when required in a header or footer. 

Headers and footers need not be the same in all the pages of a document. For example, if you need the company name in the first page of the document and page numbers in the remaining pages, it can be done. Not limited to this, you may also include multiple headers and footers if you have different section in a particular page.

What is the use of Header and Footer in a document?

You can write Header on a save document of your computer. You can write Footer on a save file of your computer. What you wanted to write within your selected document should be saved previously. Maybe you have left something important to write in your document.

The Header should be written on the upper part of a document and the Footer you can write in the lower part of your document. After that you can copy and paste your Header and Footer into another file. Please try to think how you will be able to use your Header and Footer into your document.

What is the use of Header and Footer in a document?

 

Do you wish to click on Header and Footer? You can save a file on Header and Footer. Header and Footer is a system to write in the documents if you had left any writing that you wanted to include. Please open MS Word 2007 and you will see the main menu that can be helpful to select View menu earlier.

 

There you will be find Normal, Web layout, Print layout, Toolbars, Header and Footer and Zoom. Click on Normal and you will discover everything in your document is normal. The Web layout has the frequent movement in size. 

 

Print layout has the option to select Print and page setting. Toolbars has submenu Standard, Formatting, Auto text, Clipboard. Lastly you are able to utilize Header and Footer.
