My pc specifications are following (Windows 7 Ultimate bit 64, Sapphire HD 5770 1 Gb, 4 Gb DDR2RAM, Gaming @ 1920×1080). While playing Assassin's Creed Brotherhood I get serious choppiness. While played first time not too much but some lagging. 1.5 GB ram idle when I checked Task Manager. Is it normal?

I will say that 1.5 GB RAM is so small especially that you are using the computer for gaming, and that may be the cause of the choppiness when you are playing the game. To resolve that issue you will need to upgrade the memory capacity of your computer. The ideal RAM capacity when it comes to playing games is about 4 GB and above. 1.5 GB will be just fine if you use the computer for less memory consuming purposes like editing documents. You may also need to check your hard drive capacity and make sure that it has not been exhausted for that will cause slowness to the computer too.
