In older Intel processors there was information about FSB (Front Side Bus). But in new Intel processors Core i3, i5, i7 there is no information about the FSB. Why there is no information about FSB? How can I know the FSB of Intel Core i7 processor? Is there anybody can help in this topic?

In modern world, now everything is changing. Intel is changing their technologies time to time. Intel core i3, core i5, core i7 are the processors of the modern world. Before these processors there are many processors. Pentium 4, Pentium D, Pentium extreme edition, Core 2 Duo etc. These processors have FSB(Front Side Bus). But The Core i7 has no FSB. Instead of FSB there is QPI (Quick Path Interconnect). QPI is a 20 bit interface with bi-directional communication running at either 4.8 GT/s for Intel Core i7. This helps CPU to send Data to and from the system memory. There is no FSB in Core i3,i5,i7. So, you cannot find the FSB in them. I hope you got your answer.
