Hi. 

Where can I download Lavasoft Adware freeware anti-virus version 10.5.1? 

I want to try it out since Avast and Norton 360 could not delete some Win32 Trojans and malware. 

Would it be compatible with a Windows 8 Metro OS? 

Any suggestions or tips would be highly appreciated.

Where can I download Adware freeware antivirus?

Hello Caroline,

Have you tried AVG antivirus or Avira antivirus. They are the most reliable antivirus for any machine. AVG antivirus is highly recommended.

It scans the whole computer in depth and removes all types of Trojan virus. I used it and it did pretty well for me.

I suggest you to try AVG antivirus first.

If still you want download Lava soft Adware antivirus then you can download it from their official website.

Where can I download Adware freeware antivirus?

Lavasoft free antivirus is now known as Adaware. If you want to install it on your Windows 8, there should be no problem because it is fully supported. If you want to try this, download the latest Adaware Free Antivirus. It supports Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10. Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Windows Vista are not supported.

It requires 1.6 MHz or faster processor, 1 GB RAM, 1.8 GB free space, and Windows Installer 4.5 or higher. If your computer was previously infected by a virus, scan it first with a virus removal tool. Download Sophos Virus Removal Tool and install it. Once installed, start Sophos and wait until its virus definitions gets updated. When the program is ready, click “Scan” to scan your machine.

It will scan your entire computer as well as any devices connected to the USB port. When a virus is found at the end of the scan, remove it and then repeat the scan until it no longer detects a virus. When the machine is clean, install your new antivirus program.
