I have a lot of home movies recorded in HD DVD that I would like to transfer in NAS. I have a 15 TB Synology DS1511+ NAS where I would like to put my entire home movie collection. What is the best tool to copy DVD on NAS without compromising the quality? I'm on Windows 7 64 bit. Thanks.

I found a solution for you that is to remove the protection of copy by using ripping process and copy all the files to hard disk one by one.
Your requirement was to retain the original quality then all you have to do is rip the discs and copy all the files to the NAS one by one which will make slow processing.
To avoid this slow processing. I will recommend you two software's AnyDVD Â HD or DVDFab, Both are able to handle HD DVD for high quality insurance.Â
DVDFab can also handle multiple functionalities at a time. It also deals with HD-DVD, DVD & Blu-ray Discs.
I am pretty sure that you will fix your problem with this solution.
