Hello to all.

I have a lot of iPhone apps on my iPhone 4S. I now hear through the grape vine that iPhone 5 is coming out. Does this mean I will need to buy all my apps over again?

Thank you.

Hi Charles,

Lately everyone is wondering about iPhone 5, its release date, its look, specifications, price, etc. Well your query is very much valid in this regard. Well as per the rumors and news iPhone 5 is supposed to have a whole new set of apps and everything is supposed to be different.

Let’s see. Keep your fingers crossed. Hopefully there will not be any such thing and you will be able to upgrade your phone to the latest OS. 🙂

Thanks.

Dear Charles,

You most definitely don't need to worry about this issue. Once you've purchased an app through the AppStore, the purchase gets stored in a section called purchase history. This way, even if you delete your apps locally, on your device, or from your computer, from iTunes, you will still be able to get them back for free.

Once you purchase an item it's yours forever and you are granted access to it for free even upon deletion. When you will eventually buy the new iPhone that comes out this fall, you will have your old apps instantly synced to your mobile device when you connect it to either iTunes or iCloud. Apple just makes things easier for us. I hope this helps.

Yes absolutely correct. iPhone 5 is going to release. The release date of it is 12th September, 2012 and it looks smart with two tone back, with a detailed video render, dock connector and more.

It’s nice to buy. I wish to buy that and good luck.

Thank you.
