Hi,

When I start my ASUS laptop I see the error shown below. I tried contacting ASUS support but no solution yet. What do you experts think?

I think the error on Chameleon refers to the Chameleon technology that is featured in Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free, an antivirus developed by Malwarebytes. Check your computer first if it is running on this antivirus because if it does then your antivirus is already malfunctioning. If this is the case then try reinstalling or better yet just replace it with the latest version.

Open your web browser then visit Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free to download the latest version. After that, uninstall your antivirus and then restart your computer when asked. Run the newly downloaded installer to install the latest version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free. Also visit Malwarebytes process scanner to learn some features.

If you need to install Chameleon in case your antivirus is blocked by malicious programs, you can visit Get Chameleon to run Malwarebytes. When your antivirus is fully up and running, update it and then run a full system scan on your entire hard drive. There is only one way of disabling your antivirus without your knowledge and this is through infection.

In case your problem is somewhat related to ActiveX, try updating Adobe Flash Player ActiveX or download it if you don’t have it yet on your computer. Visit Adobe Flash Player ActiveX to download the installer directly from Macromedia.
