I had a friend that knows this app compatibility growl. And he has shared it to me. But I really don't know what's the use of this app. So can anyone tell me what this app all about and how will I use this?

A) If the quantity of items if not huge sort the column and remove duplicates manually.
B) If there are thousands then:
1) Sort the column
2) Add a formula in a new adjacent column as follows:
B1=IF(A1=A2,"" ,A1 )
Select B1 and copy, then fill down (of past into other rows as necessary)
3) Now select column B and copy
4) Paste into a new column using the menu item "Edit > Paste Values"
