When can this desktop for mobiles be available?

Good day to all!

 I just had a question in my mind that, does desktop turns into a mobile? Does this possible? Maybe Yes or No?. But I just wanted to know if this is possible, probably when can this desktop for mobiles be available to all? Can anybody please help me! Thank you in advance and God Bless!

Hi,

Desktops and mobiles are two different devices used for different tasks. Mobiles cannot be more powerful than desktops. A desktop can be a mobile but a mobile cannot be a desktop.

It is easier to work on desktops than mobiles for complicated tasks such as video editing.

Mobiles are portable.

When can this desktop for mobiles be available?

Hi Barbara,

Now a days compact devices are available like notebook, iPAD etc which are functioning like as desktops. If you see people are managed to do all the work using these compact mobile devices for which they used to do the same using desktops before. Desktops users are decreasing day by day as users are shifting towards compact device. But still so much developments are pending in mobile devices to do critical things like video editing and other so many things. But development never comes to an end. One day desktop will be definitely replaced by the mobile devices. But can't say the exact time when it can happen.

Hello Barbara Rothermal,

            If you want to use a windows in the mobile then you have to buy  a mobile of Nokia that is NOKIA LUMIA. This is a mobile with built in windows as the operating system . You can get the feature of desktop there and it is just like the windows computer environment with some of the changes. It is of $400 and you can get the original Microsoft features in it .

When can this desktop for mobiles be available?

 

Hello,              

Did you ask yourself about the main difference of a desktop and a mobile? We know that desktop do not have text and call function. Now, there is prepaid broadband kit sold out in the market that by the time you use it, it allows your computer to text and make calls. There are also tabs or ipad manufactured that are built to be text and call capable ready. I hope this clears your mind.

Hi,

Three possible ideas to clarify your query:

1. Using an Edge Modem (wireless device which is usually sold by the mobile phone company with the SIM / RIM card for providing Internet facilities in desktop/laptop) with desktop may fulfill the requirement of phone calls using edge modem SIM/RIM and text messaging to other mobile numbers besides internet browsing facilities.

2. Using a Samsung Galaxy Note-II or equivalent device , iPhone, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Sony,Lenovo or any  tab with SIM/RIM card support  etc can fulfill the requirement of both mobile phone and desktop for their portability and advanced user friendly features. (GSM Arena Samsung Galaxy Note II N7100) 

3. The desktop is always Big in size but present world electronic technology is utilizing solid state devices for digital electronics and further is the nanotechnology which is making electronics and communication devices smaller to the smallest in size with very high performance by supporting multifarious functions and by integrating all the features of different type of devices  in one.
