What is a portable Google calendar sync?

A portable Google Calendar sync is a software application that enables the user to sync events between Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook Calendar. This sync software therefore enables the user to see the direction of information flow as well as how many times syncs occur.

The software is compatible with Microsoft Outlook versions 2003, 2007, 2010 as well as with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 as Compatible Operating systems. 

However it is not compatible with the 64 bit Edition of Windows XP.

For successful installation the software the user has to do the following:

• Uninstall any third party sync software as this may cause the application to function in an undesired manner.
• Choose which calendar has more of your reference  information – this will be the user’s main calendar
• The user then has to remove all data from the other Calendar (Outlook calendar if your main calendar is Google calendar)
• The user then can Install Google calendar sync and choose 1 way sync from your main calendar to the other.
• Finally the user can perform synchronization. Event information will be shown in both calendars.
