In SEO, what is Page Jacking? What is the purpose of this practice? What can I do to prevent my website falling victim to it? Is cloaking my content a legal way to prevent page jacking? How can I find out if someone has been using my website contents without my permission?

What is Page jacking and how can I prevent it ?

Page Jacking is method of stealing the contents of a website by copying the pages and keeping them on another site appearing that the later site is the legitimate site. These pagejackers submit their illegal website to many search engines for indexing purpose. To detect whether your website is free from page jacking or not, take some keywords of your website and type in search engines. If your website and cloned copies also comes in search results, then your website is affected due to page jacking. To protect from these issues, always save the cache content of your webpage. Once you are with archive file, then safely store in your computer system. The other way is to put a complaint under copyright act.
