Hi,

I am trying to set up a remote desktop through Microsoft Remote Desktop. I have a Mac and have downloaded it from the Mac App Store. I am trying to be able to set it up so that I can access my Windows 8.1 computer but I am having some trouble knowing how. For instance, what does it mean by "Gateway Name", and how would i find out the answer? Thanks!

HELLO

First you need to open a system by click on the start button and then click on right to gty computer and click on properties. Then you should click on the remote setting.

If the system asked about the password. You need to enter your system password.

Under the remote desktop users dialog box and click on add then select the user/other system.
Suppose you are administrator to the computer, Your current account user account will be added to to the list of remote user's. And then skip /jump to the next two steps.
Then you need to click on the add. In that you have option user/groups dialog box.
Then you need to specify the search location and then select the location where you want to search then you enter the the name of the object, Then type the user name and then  add ,
