ASP.NET is a server-side Web application framework. ASP.NEt supports three modes of persistence include-In process Mode, Sql State Mode, Sql Server Mode. Microsoft has released some extension frameworks that plug into ASP. NET and extend its functionality. Some of them are: ASP.NET AJAX, ASP.NET MVC Framework, ASP. NET Razor view engine, ASP.NET Dynamic Data, ASP.NET Web API, ASP.NET Signal. Its effective skills are run faster, run-time error handling, allow the rapid building of applications, true object-oriented design, etc. There are many websites used ASP.NET for in the web application. What kind of websites are asp.NET used for?

We have multiple domains in our forest with multiple websites being hosted in each under IIS.  We need to report on the versions of ASP.Net for each website for auditing.  Is there a tool that can help (easily) with this?  We are running multiple versions of Windows server also.

It can give you easier access in the windows platform. Because it is created by Microsoft you a window user and programmer can easily do things. It also contains some of the extra features that are not present in other languages for web development. You can get your code in a secure form and also it contains some great encapsulation features in it.
