I want to know more about my antivirus. I am using kaspersky 2011 version security system. About the kaspersky 2011 stop pop up application what was that all about and how it works?

kaspersky 2011 version security system blocks some popup applications and WebPages for several security reasons.
Because some pop ups may spam your computer.
To allow pop ups that you think are necessary do the following steps.
1.      Open kaspersky antivirus software and go to settings option.
2.      In the settings option click on security settings.
3.      In the security tab click on allow pop ups and enable them.

Hi Charles,
It seems that you accidentally enabled the kaspersky anti-banner feature or may be it installed as the default settings. This function enables the antivirus software to block pop up ads and banners which can be annoying for any internet user.
To disable:
Go to 'Settings'
Go to 'Anti-banner'
Then uncheck the box for 'Enable Anti-Banner' and  click 'Apply'Â
