My Microsoft Lumia is asking for an update and the update is Lumia denim update. I want to know what is new in Microsoft Lumia denim update and why it is required?
Microsoft Lumia denim update was being launched with exciting new features for the enhancement of your Microsoft Lumia. It added new interesting features such as voice assistant in Cortana as Hey Cortana. It is similar to that of Google’s voice assistant as it uses voice sensor to detect your voice. Cortana will also remind you of your any recent meetings or anything you will mention to it under its new update.

Lumia Denim was codenamed “Debian Red” during its development. It follows the naming convention used by Microsoft for their firmware in the Lumia phones.
The firmware names go in alphabetical order beginning with letter “A” for “Lumia Amber,” “B” for “Lumia Black,” “C” for “Lumia Cyan,” and “D” for “Lumia Denim.” Lumia Denim is the most distinguished for bringing lots of new features to the Lumia camera application on Lumia phones. Camera speed is definitely the area with the huge enhancement brought on by Lumia Denim including between-shot times of milliseconds.
Lumia Denim was made available on the last quarter of 2014 with Lumia 730, Lumia 735, Lumia 830, and to other Lumia phones.
