What is the function of divx player temporary files?

I had downloaded and installed the divx player yesterday. I had checked the directory folders of the program and decided to delete the folder named temporary downloaded files. Is this important? what is specifically the use of the divx player temporary files? and if it is, how to create that specific folder again that the program will read?

What is the function of divx player temporary files?

 

Hi,

Temporary Download folder is used for when streaming the video files or downloading a file using divx player saves that file in this folder. That’s mean a temporary file has been created when streaming a video. Also you can watch these files by dragging on to a player.

In that case, there might be occurred a problem if you deleted temporary download folder. So don’t delete this folder but you can delete unnecessary files in that folder. As I said above you can watch these files. Then you can decide which files not important to divx player.

What is the function of divx player temporary files?

Hi Mr. Wilton,

Please remember, when you download anything from the internet a copy of your downloaded file is saved in the temporary folder of your system. If for any reason you have deleted your temporary files from temporary folder, please follow the below steps in order to restore them.

1. Go to Recycle Bin.

2. Select all the deleted files and right click on them.

3. Click on restore tab.

4. Now all the deleted files will be restored.

Note: If you have already deleted the items from recycle bin, you can not restore them. You need not to create temporary folder rather your system will automatically create for you. Temporary files are important while streaming your divx player for video.
