I want to try elm 327 on Tata indigo. Are they compatible or do I need to install an add on? What do I need to install elm 327 Tata indigo?

The Elm 327 is a universal interface that is compatible with all OBD2 Protocols. It is a microcontroller found in most modern cars. Here is the list of supported protocols from Wikipedia:
- SAE J1850 PWM (41.6 kbaud)
- SAE J1850 VPW (10.4 kbaud)
- ISO 9141-2 (5 baud init, 10.4 kbaud)
- ISO 14230-4 KWP (5 baud init, 10.4 kbaud)
- ISO 14230-4 KWP (fast init, 10.4 kbaud)
- ISO 15765-4Â CANÂ (11 bit ID, 500 kbaud)
- ISO 15765-4 CAN (29 bit ID, 500 kbaud)
- ISO 15765-4 CAN (11 bit ID, 250 kbaud)
- ISO 15765-4 CAN (29 bit ID, 250 kbaud)

ELM327 USB Installation Procedure. Follow the Step below.

Step 1. Download complete USB Drivers. http://skpang.co.uk/downloads/Setup.msi
Step 2. Setup the USB Driver file Setup.msi and set the default file location.
Step 3. Plug the ELM327xU Interface into the PC.
Step 4. After a few seconds you will see new hardware found and prompt for files needed.

Step 5. Click Browse and browse to C:Program FilesSKPangSerial Bridge Drivers and Click ok to continue.

Now your ELM327 Indigo USB Virtual communication has been installed.
