Microsoft has announced that Windows 9 will be called as Windows 10. Let us now see the top new features of the upcoming new Windows version.

Start Menu

After its invisibility in windows 8, Microsoft has brought back Start Button. When you click open it at the bottom left corner of the screen, you get two panels side by side. The left panel shows the pinned, recently and most used apps and the right panel shows the live tiles which can be manipulated. At the top it has the power button and at the bottom the search bar, which can also search for internet results. Start Menu can also expand to the full screen.

Cortana on Desktop

Windows 10 has voice-controlled digital assistant Cortana to desktop computers. It allows you to interact with your computer verbally. You can search your hard drive, photos, open PowerPoint Presentations and even send emails while you are working on your spreadsheet.

Xbox App

You could play Xbox One game on your PC. You could also play with your friends across Xbox platforms or windows 10.

Project Spartan Browser

Internet Explorer will be replaced by Project Spartan. It includes PDF support, improved layout of long articles, and note taking. You could share your comments on social media without leaving your browser.

Improved Multitasking

You could run multiple sets of windows without any physical monitor.

Design and interface improvements

Icons are Refreshed and More modern. Flattened chrome around the apps, fully adjustable keyboard and many more improvements.
