What is the best way to protect a machine in the DMZ

DMZ is a method which helps to safeguard network form external threats. By configuring the router DMZ settings, it is easy to protect the most essential data of a network.

DMZ can be easily enabled or disabled by changing the router settings. To implement this open your web browser and access the utility page of the Router by entering the IP address of the system. This page contains some important information regarding your network & internet connections. Next find the tab where DMZ settings are mentioned. Turn on the option to enable DMZ settings and exit the utility page saving the changes.
