If you'll be focusing on capturing scenery I'd suggest for a Phototools 2.6 for a professional look in your photos, well if it doesn't suite your taste well try Perfect Effects 3 its has more than 24 effects on it and best of all its a free software.
If you'll be focusing on some close up views I'd prefer Topaz Detail with this you can tweak a small, medium, and large image details also you can enhance its look.
