I just want to know if what is the best movie maker in Ubuntu Linux. I need to download it for my current project for me to make my project perfect. Can you give me some links on where to download it?

Hi there,

As you are looking for video editor software for Ubuntu, than Kdenlive have all the similar specifications like Windows movie maker. It also edits most of the formats which are supported by windows movie maker. But as you want a good video editing software than my opinion will be either Cinelerra or Lives. Both gives more feature than Kdenlive. Just the problem is this two software do not supports so many formats like Kdenlive.

I guess, the best video editing software in Ubuntu has to be Cinelerra. It is the most advanced non-linear video editor.

You can perform actions like keying and matters with the help of the video compositing engine it has.

It also supports very high-fidelity audio and video. It can support video of any speed and size.

There are many Video Production tools working under linux operating system. The best in my opinion is Kdenlive.
