What is the best dos data backup tools

My laptop is acting weird at the moment. It is constantly losing same saved data. I need to download MS-dos data backup tools on my PC since I don't want my saved files lost. I have MS-DOS 6.0 and can you tell me why my PC is not saving some files too?

Hi,

I have encountered a problem like yours one year ago. In fact, for me the trouble was with loosing files without any warning even after saving. I used a program called "Active File Recovery" to solve the problem and it works perfectly. Recuperating data as a result of having been inadvertently lost by deleting, formatting, etc., includes a tool which recovers the registry (on FAT32, NTFS file systems…)

Hi,

You may want to try this software that I’m currently using, the Restore 6.4.  This software is a life saver for me because it can restore any old PCDOS and MSDOS floppy backups. You can use this with PCDOS and MSDOS versions from versions 2.0 to 7.0 and also diskettes that were made by DOS Backup versions 2.0 to 5.0. Here is a screenshot of the product:
