Hi James A. Watkins,

If you are looking for the best quality my suggestion is Norton 360, its user friendly, fast and reliable, every cent you pay is worth it. If you have lesser budgets, you can try Avira or Kaspersky.

Hi James,

Good question James many of the folks will be in dilemma to choose which antivirus for their pc. As different people will have different opinions if you are going to have a specific antivirus just check the system configuration because some antivirus works on high configuration and other on low depending on your specification.

I would like you to prefer Kaspersky this will help you lot by not allowing any virus in to the system and maintains full security for your pc. For Kaspersky you need to have minimum of 1 GB ram it is must.

Thanks.

Dear James,

I have read our question and I can see that you need to consult experts before you buy your new antivirus program for windows 7. I want to tell you that there are many antivirus programs that are compatible with windows 7 such as AVG, Norton or Kaspersky. But I personally use Kaspersky, because it is the only antivirus program I have been using that helped me with computer threats, also it is very secured specially when it comes to buying things online with a credit card, also Kaspersky comes with a unique windows 7 gadget. There is Kaspersky internet security 2013 and Kaspersky anti-virus 2013.

They are both the same for detecting virus and threats and the automatic updates, but if you use the internet a lot and especially if you browse banking sites and buy things online with a credit card I recommend Kaspersky internet security 2013.

This is my advice to you, the decision is up to you of course.
