Hi everyone,

What are the accepted iphone music extension name? I am just a new user of iphone 4s device and not yet familiarized all the possible features and functions. I would like to ask some guidance from you regarding the music file extension name, do iphone accept mp3 and mp4 formats?

1.       Advanced audio coding (.AAC bit rate from 8 to 320 Kilobyte/s).

2.       Protected AAC files from I tunes Store.

3.       MP3 VBR (variable Bitrate, audible formats=MP2, MP3, MP4, Audible Enhanced Audio, AAX and AAX+).

4.       Apple lossless format.

5.       Audio Interchange File Format (AAIF)

Microsoft WAVE sound file format (WAV)

It supports these kinds of Video file formats,

1.       H.264 video

2.       .MP4 format (bit rate up to 2.6 Mbps and 640*420 pixels)

3.       .MOV video file formats

4.       .Avi file format (Audio video interleave)

5.       M-JPEG format (Motion jpeg format)
