Warning! Back up is not configured.

I am using Dell Inspiron 1720 which runs with Windows 7 and the browser is Firefox. When I am trying to add LaCie Genie Timeline external drive an error message just comes up. ‘Warning! Back up is not configured. It is not able to access the backup settings. It is to be set up a new back up’. After the message, I have to start a new back up. It is happening most of the times.

Please help me to solve the problem.

Hellow,

Your Dell Inspiron 1720 cropped it's back up setting or lost it's implisit data.So when you try to add LaCie Genia Time line external dreive for your system,It show's the message.If you want to fix this problem,First and foremost you need to restore your back up settings or recover your back up setting.you can restore your back up by Windows XP/Vista/Windose7 recovere dise to completely restore your back up.

If it's not work,then take a few moment to fix it.get a Windows7 dise and install it.then renew your back up and drivers setting.It will be the best way,if you fail to recover or restore your back up.and one more think that,Before installing your LaCie Genie Timeline,please download the letast version of it,and then install.I hope you will be able to fix your problems.
