Voice commands not working at all

IPhone 4s will not take any voice commands. Siri will answer that she does not understand. No dictation on message or notes either.

Voice commands not working at all

Hi,

To use the voice commands on the iPhone 4s you need to be connected to the internet. The iPhone 4s offers the voice commands to make work easier. In order to use the voice commands follow the points below:

1. Make sure you know the basic commands. Siri does not respond to all the words that you say. It has a few basic commands that you need to learn to use the voice commands feature.

2. Make sure that you are in a calm place. Noises in the background will result in the failure of voice commands.

3. A few suggestions are given in the voice command window. Use them to find what you are looking for.

4. The most important thing is to be connected to the internet when you use the voice commands.

The Apple iPhone 4s supports 2G and 3G networks. It was unveiled and released at the same time on October 2011 and supports mini-SIM. It measures around 115.2 x 58.6 x 9.3 millimeters weighing around 140 grams. It has an LED-backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 16M colors at 640 x 960 pixels screen resolution.

It supports multitouch protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and oleophobic coating screen protection. It has a 3.5-millimeter jack with internal storage available in capacities 8, 16, 32, and 64 GB running on 512 MB RAM. This model has no support for microSD. It has USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and LE.

The primary camera supports 8 megapixels at 3264 x 2448 pixels resolution with autofocus and LED flash. It features 1/3.2-inch sensor size, geo-tagging, 1.4 µm pixel size, touch focus, panorama, face detection, and HDR photo. It can do video recording in 1080p at 30 fps with video stabilization. The secondary camera supports VGA and can do video recording in 480p at 30 fps with videocalling over Wi-Fi and 3G.

It runs on iOS 5 powered by Apple A5 chipset with dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 processor and PowerVR SGX543MP2 GPU. It can be upgraded to iOS 6.1.3 and iOS 7.0.4. It only supports HTML for internet access and no support for Java. The GPS supports GLONASS and A-GPS. Standby time is up to 200 hours on 2G and 3G while talk time is up to 14 hours on 2G and 8 hours on 3G.
