Dear all!

I am sharing an error message with all of you; it is highly requested to please share your experiences with me in connection with the remedy of this concern.

It was good enough, but when we were installing WS-8 at my computer system, and tried to uninstall the older version from my computer system before installing a newer version, I got an error message and I want to share with you for searching a remedy.

Vmware workstation error

VMware Workstation

Error 1921. VMware Authorization Service (VMAuthdService) could not be stopped. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to stop system services.

Please help me in connection with the above concern.

This problem may be occurring because your VMware Workstation is outdated. Sometimes, you uninstall the application, but the computer keeps some of its parts. Then, when you try to install it again, it creates this type of problem.

I suggest you uninstall your old version of the VMware Workstation application, then use a cleaner software to clean your computer. After that, restart your computer and try to install it again.

Now, you can install it easily and enjoy.

Hello, I have seen your post. You know some software are required administrator's rights in installation process. Actually, VMware Installation is also required that rights. It's mandatory to check and confirm that you are running this installation as administrator. If there is a problem, you must need to check its corruption is installation disk. I think you will get fault. Best of luck!
