Hi,

I just installed VLC Player on my PC with Windows XP and I have this error when I want to open the software. The installer is for Windows XP (x32) and I expected that will work. Any solution ? What is causing this one ?

Thank you !

Hello,

This issue comes when you install the player without removing the contents of the old one. Follow the below instructions.

1. Uninstall the VLC player. Clean all temporary files and registry. Better use a software which will take care it for you.

2. Restart the computer.

3. Reinstall the VLC player. It should work properly now.
