Hey guys,

I'm really confused with this thing. I noticed that on many anti virus forums people are asking for nice virus killers and not anti virus. So here is my question is virus killer and anti virus two different softwares or they are same but addressed with 2 different names?

And if virus killer is different software, how it'll help us?

Virus Killer VS Anti Virus?

Hello,

Virus killers do the same job as antivirus – in fact, both are same. Only the name differs.

Antivirus protects your system from virus infection and other threats if supported by the manufacturer. If your PC is infected, you can scan the whole system with the antivirus and remove all threats. In many case, some viruses don’t get cleared. In such case, you should use any aggressive virus killer machine.

There are many tools like that. Popular ones are: Norton Power Eraser, GMER, TDSSKiller etc.

You’ve nothing to worry about virus killer or antivirus. Both are same and using good ones like Norton, Kaspersky, AVG, Avira etc. are recommended.
