VirtualDJ Pro Missing libcurl.dll Error

I am running VirtualDJ Pro on my PC and I am facing an error regarding libcurl.dll that is missing. I tried to reinstall it but the error is still there. However clicking on the OK button on the error message, VirtualDJ will work just fine but I still want to fix it to avoid any issues in the future. Kindly please help me on this one. Thanks.

The program can't start because libcurl.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

VirtualDJ Pro Missing libcurl.dll Error

I’m not sure if the problem is with your program VirtualDJ or with your operating system because normally, legit installers always contain complete files for use in its installation. Incomplete installers only happen when you downloaded it from just any website and not from its official home page. Websites that offer installers sometimes tend to modify the original contents of the setup file.

An installer is an executable file bearing the extension name “.exe” but in reality, it is just an ordinary compressed file like a ZIP file. It is very easy to extract the contents and repackage it for customization by compressing it again and making it into an executable archive. That’s why it is very important to download the installer from legit websites.

Since reinstalling the program doesn’t work, just download the missing DLL file from Missing libcurl.dll. Extract the “libcurl.dll” file from the ZIP file. Since you are not sure where to put it, just copy it in the installation folder of the program requesting it. So here since it is VirtualDJ that requests it, go to its installation folder in “C:Program Files” and place the file.

In case it doesn’t work, copy and paste the file in “C:WINDOWSsystem32” for Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. If you are running a 64-bit operating system, copy also the file in “C:WindowsSysWOW64”.

VirtualDJ Pro Missing libcurl.dll Error

Reinstalling VirtualDJ Pro will fix the problem. But you must remember to remove all traces of the program before re-installing. The missing dll file also needs the Visual C++ Redistributable package to be installed or repair. Try to re-download the Visual C++ Redistributable from Microsoft website and see if it will resolve the problem.
